No other representation of marine life I've ever seen captures it's essence in the way that Gyotaku does. I'm constantly in awe of my subjects and how they adapt to their environments. Making Gyotaku has made me so much more connected to the marine environment. I hope that by creating and sharing my work with others, it can inspire them too.
